Annotation summary	Cadherin 22 is predominantly and widely expressed across several regions of the human CNS, according to available transcriptomic data. This pattern is not different in the mouse, where moderate-intensity neuronal somatic (cytoplasm+nucleus) immunostaining is noticed throughout the entire brain. This is more pronounced (moderate-strong) in the mitral cells and in the granular layer of the olfactory bulb, the neocortex layer IV, thalamic and hypothalamic paraventricular nuclei, ventral hippocampus and cerebellar Purkinje-cells.
