This cytosolic protein is found in many neurons throughout the brain with varying intensities. Among others, it nicely outlines the neurons of the induseum griseum. Of special note are the neuronal cells in the dentate gyrus and the gradient of low-to-higher intensities from the inner to the outer areas of the granular layer.
