This score describes the level of antibody staining observed in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). This score describes a knowledge-based best estimate of the protein expression in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. Moderate membranous staining was exhibited in stomach, large intestine, adrenal gland, basal layers of squamous epithelia, gall bladder, placental trophoblastic cells, heart muscle and prostate. Cells in seminiferus ducts of testis, glandular cells of post-menopause uterus and epididymis were strongly stained. Strong cytoplasmic positivity was observed in renal tubules. Remaining normal tissues were mainly negative.

The majority of normal tissues showed moderate to strong membranous and cytoplasmic positivity. Cells in CNS, most endocrine cells, lymphoid cells outside reaction centra, breast, smooth and skeletal muscle were weakly stained or negative. Sinusoids showed distinct positivity in liver.
