A-kinase anchor protein 5 is generally widespread across many regions of the human and mouse brain.
Weak-moderate intensity neuronal somato-dendritic-, weak axonal- and weak-moderate diffuse/synaptic immunostaining patterns are noticed throughout the entire brain.
The somato-dendritic staining pattern is the most pronounced in the olfactory bulb external plexiform layer, thew neocortex layer IV, globus pallidus, medial septum, ventral pallidum, BNST nuceli and in the cerebellar Purkinje-cells.
Choroid plexus cwlls are also immunostained.
Positive cells and structuresi
Manually selected location of the protein positivity, observed by immunofluorescence staining in mouse brain.
